I am a Teacher of English in a State School in Kolkata,West Bengal and take Sr. Secondary classes.I have a Post-Grad degree in English Literature and a Bachelor's degree in Education.I also have a Diploma in Management.

I was born and brought up in Jamshedpur,the Steel City.My father worked with Tata Motors in Jamshedpur.I moved to Kolkata in the year 2006 after clearing the State School Services Examination conducted for the recruitment of teachers.

I have a younger brother,married and settled in the USA.

My father passed away in Nov.2007.My mother is a homemaker and divides her time between Jamshedpur and Kolkata.

My hobbies include reading,writing,blogging,oratory,gardening,cooking..

I'd expect my partner to be well-educated,have a successful career but more importantly be a loving,understanding and decent human being who cherishes family values.
